The latest figures presented at Biofach show a significant growth of organic products in most of the relevant countries around the globe. Sales increased while often the number of organic farms, the expansion of organic farm land and the agricultural production have not grown enough to meet the raising consumer demand. The global picture shows a growing dependance from imports in many items. Anyhow it´s a pleasure to see organic markets recovering from the after COVID depression and finding back to growth.
